Adaptive Assessment Intelligence

Assessments That Adapt.
Credentials You Can Trust.

LearnVyx generates adaptive assessments that adjust difficulty mid-exam based on response latency and confidence signals — giving institutions a cheat-proof score and learners a credential that maps to actual competence.

The Problem

Static tests can't measure true competence

Traditional assessments are built for compliance, not accuracy. Three systemic failures institutions accept as normal — until now.

Scores Are Gamed

Static question banks reward pattern recognition and memorization. Learners who study the format — not the material — routinely outscore those who've mastered the content.

Credentials Are Inflated

When every test-taker gets the same questions, passing rates cluster at the top — a signal that the assessment isn't discriminating between genuine mastery and surface-level recall.

Assessors Work Blind

Instructors and L&D leads see a final score. They don't see where a learner hesitated, which questions they revisited three times, or which topics triggered confident wrong answers.

How LearnVyx Works

Three steps from question bank to trusted credential

Learner Starts Assessment

Begins with calibration items drawn from your item bank. The engine establishes a baseline ability estimate within the first 3-5 questions.

Engine Reads Signals

Response latency, answer confidence, revision patterns, and IRT-weighted accuracy signals update the ability estimate in real time. Difficulty branches accordingly.

Score + Credential Issued

A precision-scored result with Bayesian confidence interval, plus a verifiable digital credential that links to the learner's signal profile — not just a pass/fail.

Core Differentiators

Built on the science of adaptive measurement

Three capabilities that separate LearnVyx from static assessment platforms and traditional proctoring solutions.

Adaptive Mid-Exam

Difficulty adjusts after every response using 3-Parameter Logistic (3PL) IRT modeling. No two learners receive the same path — the exam converges on the exact ability level where Fisher Information is highest, reaching measurement precision equivalent to a 100-item static test in 18–22 items.

Confidence Signal Detection

Response latency deviations, multi-attempt patterns, and item revision sequences are treated as psychometric signals — not noise. The result is a second-order integrity score that reflects how the answer was reached, not just whether it was correct.

Score-Level Integrity

Person-fit statistics (infit/outfit mean squares) and response latency distributions flag improbable response profiles at the session level — not the item level. LearnVyx is not a proctoring tool: we apply a Bayesian integrity penalty to the final ability estimate, not a surveillance layer to the test environment.

Skills validation that connects to business outcomes

Stop relying on training completion rates. LearnVyx identifies which employees have genuinely mastered onboarding material, compliance requirements, and leadership competencies — before they show up in performance reviews.

Onboarding Skills Validation Objective measurement of what new hires retained from onboarding — not just whether they finished.
Compliance Certification Defensible evidence that your team completed required training and genuinely understood it.
Leadership Readiness Assessment Identify skill gaps before they become performance gaps — with data your HRBP can act on.

What practitioners say

"We had been arguing for two years about whether our placement test was actually measuring readiness or just familiarity with standardized question formats. LearnVyx resolved that argument in one semester — the adaptive score correlated with course completion at 0.73 versus 0.41 for our prior instrument."

Dr. Rachel Torres
Associate Provost for Assessment & Accreditation, Westfield Community College (12,400 enrolled students)

"Our compliance training used to end with a 10-question quiz that everyone passed on the second attempt. After moving to adaptive post-certification with RPIS scoring, we have confidence intervals on individual mastery — and the legal team finally stopped asking us to screen-record every session."

Marcus Kim
Head of L&D Technology, Meridian Advisory Group (Fortune 500 professional services)
